We are a proud American-born organization representing Wing Chun schools from sea to shining sea. United we stand, the American Wing Chun Association serves to advocate the needs of Americans through showcasing the enrichment of the American Wing Chun experience; advancement and growth of the American Wing Chun community; and enhancement of the educational mission of the individual American Wing Chun schools.<br /><br />Although we are thankful to those in foriegn countries that have given us the art of Wing Chun, we are distinctly American. Therefore, membership in the American Wing Chun Association is exclusive to American citizens practicing Wing Chun within the United States of America. This includes those American Wing Chun practitioners who are teaching or who want to teach the art including American Wing Chun schools, instructors and/or students.<br /><br />We are an independent organization based on freedom. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave! We believe that members of the American Wing Chun Association are free to have membership in other associations and organizations.<br /><br />The American Wing Chun Association is a new organization. Therefore we are in need of filling positions within the organization, such as State Representatives. If you are interested in a position with the American Wing Chun Association and believe that you can help in it's growth, please contact us. There is an interview process as well as a minimum Wing Chun experience requirement to fill certain positions.<br /><br />Life Membership is a one time fee (no sustaining fees) of $150.00 USD.
